About the Collection
This site was generated using CollectionBuilder as an assignment to learn about metadata for Information Organization. Each item is hand made by me and each record has tons of details for you to peruse. The intended purpose of this collection is to introduce beginning knitting terms and ideas for learners in my classes. If you have any questions about anything on this site, please reach out! I am happy to talk about what I have learned both through this project and through the items I have knitted. Actually, I’m probably happy just to talk in general. I like people.
Technical Credits - CollectionBuilder
This digital collection is built with CollectionBuilder, an open source framework for creating digital collection and exhibit websites that is developed by faculty librarians at the University of Idaho Library following the Lib-Static methodology.
Using the CollectionBuilder-CSV template and the static website generator Jekyll, this project creates an engaging interface to explore driven by metadata.
